Hedging
What is hedging?
How does hedging help reduce losses?
Why do hedging your bets?
Hedging means a hedge, this is a common term that is used not only in bookmaking, but also on financial exchanges. Hedging can mean different actions. In effect, any bet that is made after the original bet (while the original is still in action), but on another team or sportsman in order to change the total amount of money in bets or risk structure, can be considered as a hedging item.
For example, before the start of the World Cup you bet on the victory of England, but after a few matches began to doubt and made several more bets on Brazil, Argentina and Germany – this is a hedge (insurance against loss of England).
