Declaration of Weights
What is the Declaration of Weights?
Why at the end of a race does an event called the Declaration of Weights occur?
In a sport such as horse racing, a constant check of the weight of horses participating in a race is carried out. Before starting, this is done to set the odds. But at the end of a race an event called Declaration of Weights is held. This is the second measurement of the weight of horses, thanks to which the payment of winnings is implemented.
