Handicap Away -6.5 means the bet on the handicap of guests minus six and a half.

This is the bet on the victory of guests in a match with the difference of seven or more points. These bets are set for the favorite. The handicap -6.5 is rarely seen in football or hockey and very often – in basketball, volleyball, handball and other sports competitions, in which many points are scored. To calculate the bet for the outcome of Away -6.5, you need to subtract 6.5 from the final points of guests, and if after that a score is in favor of guests, the bet won; if in favor of hosts, the bet lost.

For example:

Guests won with the score 92:101. We subtract handicap -6.5 (101-6.5 = 94.5) from the points scored by them and get the score 92:94.5, guests still win, which means the bet won.

The match is over with the score 65:67. Guests won two points, but if we subtract (67-6.5 = 60.5) from their points scored, then hosts will win 65:60.5, which means that the bet on the outcome of Away -6.5 is lost.
