Where to buy tickets?

Pricing is what you can expect from an NHL venue. Visitors will pay more on the spot for food than anywhere else, so visiting a restaurant or bar in the city center before the game is a good option. The total return on investment is decent. An evening of playing for two with food, drinks and parking will cost you about $60 for a place for the cheapest places and up to $180 for the most expensive. Of course, places vary in price depending on the opposition.

Games are grouped in A, B or C, and prices vary according to this classification. Getting a ticket is another company. Tickets for the game can be purchased on the Jets website via Ticketmaster or the Winnipeg Jets Seat Exchange. Beware of third-party ticket selling sites, as the planes did try to put it down, and there were examples of selling fraudulent tickets. The availability of tickets for Jets aircraft is increasing, and there are more places than in the past. Visitors to the game must check the Jets Seat Exchange. Ticket information is available on the Jets website.

How to get there?

Access to Bell MTS Place is very easy. The Bell MTS Place is situated on the famous Winnipeg Portage Avenue between Donald and Hargrave, and is easily accessible after the game. This is a remarkable change for those who have ever seen the game at the old Winnipeg Arena. No need to leave the game early to get around traffic. Visitors can hold on to the last whistle and enjoy every moment of the game. The Bell MTS site is associated with an extensive system of indoor walkways in Winnipeg, so visitors can park, leave their jackets in the car and wear only their jerseys to play while walking indoors. Check out the parking map in downtown Winnipeg Business to see a variety of options next to Bell MTS Place. Downtown Winnipeg Business also has a track map, which is currently being updated.

Where to eat?

Opportunities within the game include the Exchange Restaurant and the beer market situated at the building’s event level. The stock exchange is open 90 minutes before the fall of the puck and is a good place to meet before, during or after the game. Moxie’s is also situated on site and offers visitors direct access to the venue from the restaurant when they are ready to leave. Bell MTS also offers dinner before playing in The Observation Deck bar and in the buffet.

After the puck has fallen, there are many options for those who want to grab food and drinks. Visitors can eat anything they like: hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries and Putin, meat snacks and, of course, popcorn and chips. If you’re ready, try Jumbo Jet Dog — a fan favorite. This monster dog, modeled on the hot dogs that are served in the old Winnipeg Arena, includes additional toppings of your choice, including chili peppers, bacon bits, dumplings, or nacho cheese. Jumbo Jet Dog will cost you about ten bucks plus $ 1.75 for each additional topping, but if you’re hungry, it’s better for you — or share it with a friend!

Dining options in the halls also include two Freshii restaurants (outside sections 109 and 321), three Pizza Pizza locations (outside sections 113, 121 and 319) and Tim Hortons (outside sections 111, 121, 305 and 319). Visitors should also check out Bella Pasta, where you can mix and match pasta and sauce (outside sections 113 and 308). Bell MTS also offers Carvery & Melts outside sections 112 and 310 for those looking for a fresh smoked sandwich and a Gourmet Burger outside sections 112 and 301 for all your hamburger needs and fixings. Check out all the information on the Bell MTS Place website.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere at Bell MTS Place is probably one of the best in the league. Visitors are loud and proud. This happens immediately after the Jets arrive on the ice, which gives them loud applause, followed by the first Go!

Jet! Go! fanchant before singing hymns. This continues during the anthem (s), when the building shouts “True North” during About Canada. It began in the first season, when the planes returned as thanks and appreciation to True North Sports and Entertainment, which returned the NHL to Winnipeg.

Visitors are knowledgeable and respond quickly to missed calls or unreasonable fines of the home team. If you really want to experience the passion of Jets visitors, sit down at level 300. This is the place where many chants take place, and there is much more lively than in the lower bowl.

Neighborhood

Popular pre-and post-game spots around Bell MTS Place include Tavern United on Graham Avenue, Boston Pizza Cityplace, Yellow Dog Tavern on Donald Street, The Shark Club in Cityplace and The Metropolitan on Donald right across from Bell MTS Place. This newly renovated attraction boasts a huge screen, lunch and comfort for those who want to play before the game, after the game or catch the game when the planes are on the road. Don’t forget about the advanced gaming options available at Bell MTS Place. The Exchange Restaurant and the observation deck book online, so you can plan ahead.

Despite the fact that pre-players have many options, the central location of Bell MTS Place provides easy access and many options. The traffic before and after the game is never a problem, as there are many routes to and from the city center. The Winnipeg district of SHED (a district of sports, hospitality and entertainment) begins to provide many options for visitors and visitors.

Visitors coming from another city have many accommodation options right in the city center next to Bell MTS Place. Hotel Alt Winnipeg is right across the street on Portage Avenue. One block to the east is the Radisson Hotel Winnipeg Downtown, and in the southwest is the Delta Winnipeg Hotel. More historic options include the Marlborough Hotel and the Fort Garry Hotel, which are within walking distance, but a little further. Visitors who want to check out the game and see other sights may want to stay close to The Forks. The Inn At The Forks Hotel offers an excellent location in the Forks National Historic Site, next to the Canadian Museum of Human Rights.

The fans

Visitors of jet planes pull the criteria of the scale of fanfare out of the water. You can hear how the visitors react to penalty calls, repeat the name of the opposition goalkeeper, create unique and clever screams and, of course, encourage their team as loudly as possible. The visitors are well aware of their home team and the opposing team. Bell MTS Place visitors create a unique atmosphere that makes the overall impression special. Visitors will wear their home jersey Blue Jets, white road jerseys, classic Heritage jerseys or the third jersey of the 2019 season — Aviator jersey. Visitors may want to visit the Jets Gear Store at Bell MTS Place or go to one of their other places in St. Petersburg. Vital Center, Polo Park, Kildonan Place or Bell MTS Iceplex to buy some Jets products if you want to watch this part.

Visitors of jets are knowledgeable and ready to support their team, as well as to deliver challenging times to rivals. Repetition of the name of the opposition goalkeeper is common. The chants “Go! Jet! Go!” Often occur throughout the game, usually starting from the top deck and going down the whole stadium.

If you are a fan who likes to encourage and participate, find a few places in sections 309-315, as this is where many chants often originate. The upper deck is a more festive atmosphere than the lower bowl at Bell MTS Place. If you really want to take part in the game and have fun, take a few places at level 300. If you sit more and watch the type of game, choose places at 100 or 200 levels.

Additionally

Bell MTS Place has a few bonus points. The object itself is well thought out. Entering the second decade, the building looks surprisingly new thanks to constant updates and additions.

Views are good no matter where you sit, and have been improved by adding seamless glass railing and raising seats on the top level to improve lines of sight.

The new big HD scoreboard also brings bonus points for Bell MTS Place. It’s easy to see from anywhere in the venue bowl. Do not forget to get to your place early enough to watch as the Jets gaming day development team falls to the puck. From the historical video clips to the game videos and highlights, the functions to the game are worth seeing.

Bonus points are awarded for seating at Bell MTS Place. If you are lucky enough to get a ticket here or you know someone who has it, a treat is waiting for you. This recent addition hangs from the upper deck and provides one of the best views at Bell MTS Place. As a small personal box, complete with a serving table, the seats are spacious and comfortable, and there is a small stand for food and drinks in front of them — perfect if you are going eat at jumbo jet dog.

The greatest bonus points are Jets visitors at Bell MTS Place. Players appreciate the game here, and they hear the visitors loud and clear, as in the design of the building the visitors sit right above the surface of the ice. No matter how loud it may seem to a fan in the stands, it is louder for a player on the ice.

Visitors are knowledgeable and busy. The reaction of the visitors is fast, loud and clever. An opposing player who makes a mistake often becomes the target of a sarcastic greeting. Good plays are quickly confirmed by applause. Everything, from a blocked shot to a beautiful move or even a smart move to execution, is quickly recognized by the crowd. Visitors appreciate skill and good hockey. Even opposing players from time to time received appreciative applause.

History

After the bankruptcy of the famous retailer Eaton, the famous store, originally built in Winnipeg, was devastated. Various alternative uses for the building were offered (including residential condominiums), but ultimately the venue was recognized as the most viable and profitable for the busy city center by the Mayor of Winnipeg Glen Murray and True North. After a small but emotional resistance to losing the Eaton building on the Western Canadian landmark by some locals and the Save the Eaton Coalition, which inspired 180 people in the Big Shop, the store was demolished to make way for a new entertainment complex.

The MTS Center officially opened on November 16, 2004, replacing the aging Winnipeg Arena. In an effort to learn the history of the store, red bricks were included in the design of the facade of the venue, recalling the memory of the Eaton store, which once adorned Portage Avenue. Tyndall’s original showcase and stone framing are mounted on the stadium’s site to house the Eaton collection of memorabilia. In addition, two war memorials were included in the building. The statue of Timothy Eaton, which was once the main feature of the store, is also situated in the center of the MTS, close to the place where it stood in the Eton building.
