Goaltending penalty
What is goaltending penalty in football?
The goaltending penalty is the player’s attempt to jump, desiring to deflect the player’s kick from the goalpost. If the ball visited the goalposts without problems, the referee counts the field goal or point after the touchdown good. But if the defendant intentionally changed the ball direction, it will get the 15-yard line, plus the offense starts the next play from the planned first down line.
