D-gap
What does D-gap mean in the American football?
Can we see D-gap at the beginning of the match?
D-gap is the most distant gap on the field. It shows the space outside the tight end.
It is known as the edge on the offensive line of scrimmage. The defense and coverage of these gaps are the responsibility of defensive ends or backs. D-gaps are often used to form coverage lanes, rushing attempts and blitz schemes.
