Eoin Morgan

Eoin Joseph Gerard Morgan is an Irish-born cricketer known as a player and captain of the England cricket team in limited overs cricket, Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, Middlesex in the T20 Blast and London Spirit in The Hundred. Under his captaincy, England won the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, the first time they won the tournament.

A left-handed batter, he’s known for playing county cricket for Middlesex and has played for England’s Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20I) teams. He previously played for the Ireland cricket team in ODIs, and was the first player to score an ODI hundred for two nations.

After Alastair Cook was removed from the ODI captaincy on 19 December 2014, Morgan was named as the England captain for the 2015 Cricket World Cup, having already captained England in ODIs and T20Is as a stand-in. He is the first England captain to have scored more than 4 ODI centuries.

Morgan is one of the all-time leading run scorers and capped players for England in both ODI and T20I matches. He also set the England record for the fastest fifty in ODIs and during the 2019 ICC World Cup he scored the highest number of sixes in an ODI innings, with 17 sixes against Afghanistan.

In March 2021, Morgan became the first male cricketer for England to play in 100 T20Is (57 as captain), in the third match against India.

He is also known as a left-handed red ball specialist in both Tests and ODIs, former ODI captain, first-class cricketer for the Sinhalese Sports Club, and opening batsman for Sri Lanka in Test cricket.

In 2015, Karunaratne became one of the leading batsmen for Sri Lanka in Tests due to his century making in the second innings of Test matches. He was described as second-innings specialist by many commentators. He scored four centuries in the second innings out of the six centuries he made until October 2017. On 7 October 2017, Karunaratne became the second Sri Lankan opener after Tillakaratne Dilshan to score three Test centuries in a calendar year. In February 2019, he was named as the captain of Sri Lanka’s Test squad for their series against South Africa.

In April 2019, Sri Lanka Cricket named Dimuth Karunaratne as the team’s new One Day International captain ahead of the 2019 Cricket World Cup, replacing Lasith Malinga. He is the second batsman after Ridley Jacobs to carry his bat in a Cricket World Cup.

Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan is a Pakistani international cricketer who chose to represent Pakistan in international cricket in 2015. A right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper, he scored centuries in all three international formats: Tests, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals. Maharaj set the joint world record for the most runs scored in an over in Test history, scoring 28 off one of Joe Root’s overs during England’s tour of South Africa in 2019.

Karima Gore is an American cricketer. He was named in the United States’ squad for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia. He made his List A debut for the United States against Namibia in the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. The United States finished in the top four places in the tournament, therefore gaining One Day International (ODI) status. Gore made his ODI debut for the United States in 2019, against Papua New Guinea, in the tournament’s third-place playoff.

Prior to his List A debut, he played in several 50-over matches for the United States against the United Arab Emirates in 2019. Gore has also played cricket in Antigua and Barbuda, including matches alongside his father. In 2014, Gore was the leading run-scorer and wicket-taker in the United Insurance Schools U19 competition.

He was named in a 30-man training squad for the United States cricket team, ahead of the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier tournament in Bermuda. The following month, he was one of twelve players to sign a three-month central contract with USA Cricket. He was then named in the United States’ squad for the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier tournament. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for the United States against Canada on August 21, 2019.

He was named in the United States’ squad for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 tournament. He then was selected to take part in the Minor League Cricket tournament in the United States following the players’ draft.
